  6. THE SHAREWARE CONCEPT

  8.   Shareware is licensed commercial software which the authors make available
  9.   on a try-before-you-buy basis.  Users may evaluate a Shareware product for a
  10.   period usually between 30 and 90 days, by the end of which they must either
  11.   pay for the product (known as Registration) or stop using it.

  13.   Copying of Shareware, subject to the above conditions, is not only allowed,
  14.   it is encouraged.  Pass copies on to interested friends and colleagues.
  15.   Shareware authors rely on the integrity of users to abide by the conditions
  16.   of the license, and register the product if they want to continue using it.

  19. ABOUT THIS PRODUCT

  21.   This program is Shareware, and may be freely copied and distributed subject
  22.   to the terms described in the VENDOR.TXT file.  The program may be tried out
  23.   for up to 30 days without charge, after which time users should register it
  24.   or cease to use it.

  27.   is licensed software, and copying or using it without paying for it, except

  31. WHY REGISTER?

  33.   As stated, the license for this product entitles you to try it out for up to
  34.   30 days.  Use of the unregistered product beyond that period is a breach of
  35.   copyright and is against the law.  But apart from the legal obligation,
  36.   there are many benefits to be gained from registering.  You will receive:

  41.    -  the satisfaction of supporting value software through Shareware

  44. PRICING

  46.   Single Registration is free for previous owners and $15.00 for everyone else.
  47.   A shipping and handling fee of $5 for US and $10 for foreign countries applies
  48.   to everyone. Single Registration gives a license for use of the program by one
  49.   user or on one machine, and entitles you to all the benefits listed above.
  50.   Special licensing arrangements are available for schools or businesses or
  51.   anywhere there are multiple machines or users at the one site. All prices are
  52.   subject to change without notice.

  66.   Support is given to unregistered users during the 30 day trial period,
  67.   and to registered users for 12 months.  This includes direct access to
  68.   the author and/or distributor by email, or postal mail. You will also
  69.   get notification of any fixes and new releases.

  74.   This product is licensed, not sold.  It may be freely copied and distributed
